***** The True Believer Will Be Given His Record Of Deeds In His Right Hand, And Will Be The One Who Is Saved And Happy On The Day Of Resurrection

***** The Disbelievers, Hypocrites And Followers Of Misguidance Will Be Given Their Record Of Deeds In Their Left Hands, From Behind Their Backs, And Will Be Ddomed To The Blazing Hell-Fire.

When people have been brought to account for their deeds, each person will be given the book that contains the record of all his deeds.

 

The believer will be given his book in his right hand, as a sign of honour.

He will be the one who is saved and happy on the Day of Resurrection.

Allah says:

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ﴿٧﴾ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا﴿٨﴾ وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا ﴿٩﴾

“Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, He will be judged with an easy account, And return to his people in happiness.”

[al-Inshiqaaq 84:7-9]

Allah says:

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمُ اقْرَءُوا كِتَابِيَهْ ﴿١٩﴾ إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَاقٍ حِسَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٠﴾ فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ﴿٢١﴾ فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ ﴿٢٢﴾ قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ ﴿٢٣﴾كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ ﴿٢٤﴾

“So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." So he will be in a pleasant life - In an elevated garden, Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near. [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."”

[al-Haaqqah 69:19-24]

But the disbelievers, hypocrites and followers of misguidance will be given their books in their left hands, from behind their backs.

Allah says:

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ ﴿١٠﴾ فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا ﴿١١﴾ وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ﴿١٢﴾

“But as for he who is given his record behind his back, He will cry out for destruction And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.”

[al-Inshiqaaq 84:10-12]

Allah says:

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٥﴾ وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٦﴾ يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ ﴿٢٧﴾ مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهْ ۜ ﴿٢٨﴾ هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيَهْ ﴿٢٩﴾ خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ ﴿٣٠﴾ ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ ﴿٣١﴾ ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ ﴿٣٢﴾

“But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record And had not known what is my account. I wish my death had been the decisive one. My wealth has not availed me. Gone from me is my authority." [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him. Then into Hellfire drive him. Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."

[al-Haaqqah 69:25-32]

Allah says:

هَـٰذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."

[al-Jaathiyah 45:29]

Allah says:

اقْرَأْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا

“[It will be said], "Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant."

[al-Isra’ 17:14]

May Allah grant us tawfeeq and success and special favors to grant us our records of deeds in our right hands and will be included among the most successful salvation in the life hereafter! Aameen
